2″ FIG 1502 Integral Tee & Wye (Y-Tee)
Shanghai PME Industrial is proud to announce the completion of a high-pressure flowline project featuring our 2″ FIG 1502 Integral Tee and Wye (Y-Tee) fittings. These units are specifically engineered for the rigorous demands of flowback, well testing, and fracturing services in the Southeast Asia region.
Constructed from high-strength forged alloy steel, these Integral Flowline Fittings feature a 15,000 PSI working pressure rating. By utilizing an integral design, we eliminate the need for welding, significantly increasing the safety and structural lifespan of the MxFxF Hammer Union Tee and Wye under extreme vibration and pressure conditions.
Tee vs. Wye (Y-Tee) Comparison
While both fittings share the 2″ FIG 1502 MxFxF configuration, their flow characteristics serve different logistical needs:
- 90° Tee: Features a perpendicular intersection. It is the standard for diverting flow at a sharp 90-degree angle, ideal for compact manifold layouts.
- Wye (Y-Tee): Features a 45° or 60° angled branch. This reduced angle minimizes turbulence and erosion during high-velocity fluid transfer, making it superior for abrasive flowback media.
